HISTORY
A testament to the family's connection with their land.
A story that began in 2010. A strong bond with the Salento territory and a blend of passions gave life to the winemaking project of Tenuta Corallo. The Marti family, active for decades in the tourism industry of Salento, driven by their love for the sea and passion for the world of wine, acquired a beautiful estate near the beach of the Bay of the Turks, along the Adriatic coast that connects the Alimini Lakes to Otranto.
Organic Vineyard Between Sea and Nature
Soon, the project on paper becomes a reality, and a vineyard of about 9 hectares is planted, cultivated organically, and surrounding a refined agriturismo. It is separated from the sea by only a thin line of Mediterranean scrub, a natural barrier that protects it from the cold mistral winds blowing from the Strait of Otranto. These very natural elements—the sea breeze and rich vegetation—give the grapes and wines unique and recognizable aromas and fragrances.
Winery
Nestled next to the vineyard stands the modern winery, a work of contemporary and functional architecture where technological innovation and tradition harmoniously coexist. It is designed to have a low environmental impact and high energy efficiency.
